Amy Elizabeth Aikman, age 59, of Russellville, died Thursday, April 2, 2026, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center.  She was born February 23, 1967, in Mena to O.D. Smith, Jr., and Joetta Pund Smith.

She was a longtime CPA in Russellville and a member of Central Presbyterian Church where she was previously the church treasurer.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, John "Crutch" Aikman.

Survivors include her father and stepmother, O.D. Smith, Jr., and Pat Smith; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Susie Nicholson of Fayetteville, Carol and Mark Lykins of Russellville and Angie and Joe Bacik of Hoschton, Georgia; brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Jo Ann Griffin of Signal Mountain, Tennessee; and numerous nephews and nieces.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m, Friday, June 26, 2026, at the Shinn Chapel with the Rev. Brian Brock officiating and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

Private burial for the family will be  in Briggs Memorial Park near Briggsville.
