Obituary

Barbara Kay (Grant) Ives, (75) of Livingston, Texas, was taken home by her Lord and Savior on January 3, 2021. She was born on July 11, 1945, in Russellville, Arkansas, to Scott and Kathleen Moseley Grant.

A graduate of Morrilton High School in 1963, she was a cheerleader and homecoming queen her senior year. Upon graduations she joined the Dr. Harold E. Hyder family in Saudi Arabia.

Barbara had a kind and loving heart and was an inspiration to many as she shared her faith to anyone and everyone who crossed her path.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and her precious granddaughter, Violet White.

For loved ones she leaves behind, we know that she is rejoicing with her family in heaven and we find peace in knowing she has been made whole and we will see her again one day. She is survived by her daughter, D. Michelle Ives; grandson, Forrest White; and her great-granddaughter, Riley Robins, all of Texas; in addition to numerous cousins, and their families, as well as a host of friends.

Barbara's wishes were to be cremated and her remains will be buried at the family plot in Oakland Cemetery in Russellville, Arkansas, at a date to be determined and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

Memorials may be made in her memory to a charity of your choice or NAMI, P.O. Box 49104, Baltimore, MD 21297.
