Beth Monroe, age 76, of Russellville, died Monday, October 26, 2026, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. She was born on June 23, 1950, in Russellville to Herbert William and Frankie Duhan Lovelace Walter.

She attended Russellville High School and the University of Arkansas. Flowers were the family business. Her parents opened Walter's Flower Shop in Russellville in 1948. In 1994, Beth and her husband, Roy, bought the shop from them and carried it on. Beth received a Lifetime Achievement Award from AmeriCorps for her volunteer service. She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church and she loved her dachshunds.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Beth is survived by her husband, Roy Monroe of Russellville; her sister, Jane Schuring of Magnolia, Texas; her stepson, Rob (Sharon) Monroe, of the Orlando, Florida, area; her stepdaughter, Michelle; her step-grandchildren; her nephews and niece, Arend (Tommy) Schuring, Austin (Angie) Schuring, and Savannah Schuring; her great-nephews; and her beloved dachshund, Riley.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at Central Presbyterian Church in Russellville, with arrangements by Shinn Funeral Service.
