Betty Jean Brown, age 82, of Russellville died Thursday, March 9, 2023, at her home.  She was born October 20, 1940, in Pea Ridge, to William Reece and Alberta Burris Davis.

She was a member of East Point Baptist Church and enjoyed her family and her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Leonard Brown; a sister, Wanda Brown; and four brothers, Jay Davis, Edward Earl Davis, Charles Raymond Davis and Wilburn Ray Davis.

Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Mayer of Russellville, and Lisa Sharp and her husband, Ken of Pelsor; a son, Samuel (Bud) Brown and his wife, Paula of Dover; two sisters, Mary Coffman of Pottsville and Ruby Reynolds of Atkins; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 13, 2023, at the Shinn Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Williams officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m., until service time in the chapel.

Pallbearers will be Ken Sharp, Mason Brown, Shane Sharp, Tyler Sharp and Daniel Mayer.
