Betty Louise McClanahan, age 94, of Cabot, formerly of Russellville, died Sunday, October 10, 2021, at Stonebridge Senior Living in Cabot. She was born September 19, 1927, at Atkins, to the late Oscar and Eva Jane (Bradford) Cochran.

She worked for the International Shoe Company and Frolic Footwear for 43 ½ years.  She was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church in Russellville and attended the Sixteenth Section United Methodist Church in Cabot.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell S. McClanahan; five siblings; and son-in-law, Richard J. Rogers.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda McClanahan Rogers of Cabot; granddaughter and her husband, Robyn and Todd Hull of Conway; and two great-granddaughters, Whitney Elizabeth Wallace of Little Rock, and Hailey Grace Hull of Conway.

A private burial will be at Oakland Cemetery in Russellville under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.  Due to concerns about COVID, a private memorial service will be held for Betty at a later date.
