Bonnie Jean Seward, age 86, of Russellville, died Saturday, May 24, 2025, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center, after a long battle with cancer. She was born October 27, 1938, in Conroe, Texas, to Tolbert Edward and Nellie Nora Perry Brown.

She attended Atkins Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Gene Seward; five brothers; and one sister.

Survivors include one son, Keith Hacker of Ranger; one daughter and son-in-law, Elaine (Bonnie) and Gary Thompson of Pottsville; three grandchildren, Ryon (Letty) Hacker, Brandi Hodge and Nicholas (Heather) Thompson; five great-grandchildren, Loralai Hodge, Flynt Hodge, Kaleb Thompson, Owen Thompson and Ethan Hacker.

The graveside funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Bowden Cemetery on Crow Mountain with Mr. Richard Kirkland officiating and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
