Bryan
Meredith
Aug 4, 1980 — Jun 10, 2023
Conway
Bryan Meredith, age 42, of Conway, died Saturday, June 10, 2023, at his home. He was born August 4, 1980, in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Adrian Royce and Esperanza (Hope) Gonzalez Meredith.
Bryan loved people, and loved making people feel loved and special. His family was so important to him, and he was proud to be of Mexican heritage. Bryan was not afraid to be himself, and he received enjoyment being able to show a shock factor to everyone around him.
Bryan was a high school wrestler and in his later years, taught insurance to new agents coming into the field. His teammates and colleagues had a lot of respect for him. He was always going above and beyond in all aspects of his life; he was a perfectionist. After high school, Bryan only applied for one college, The University of Florida, and was determined that there was no need to apply to any other colleges because he was going to be a Gator!
For fun, he enjoyed playing tabletop games, watching movies, all types of music, and sharing his music with friends and family. He would classify himself as a big nerd!
He was preceded in death by his hetero-life-partner, Chris Clarke; maternal and paternal grandparents; several aunts and uncles; and two cousins.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Jeremiah Short of Russellville; two brothers and brother-in-law, Adrian R. Meredith II of Russellville and Carlos Meredith and Randy Kelley of Little Rock; a niece, Elizabeth Grace Miller of Dover; his second hetero-life-partner, Robert Yost of Oppelo; his goddaughter, Caroline Yost of Little Rock; his girlfriend, Hannah Perez of Clinton; innumerable extended family and friends in Texas, Florida, Arkansas and Mexico; and two aunts, Silvia Sanchez and Josie Tapia, both of Deer Park, Texas.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 19, 2023, at St. Leo the Great Catholic University Parish with Father Raj officiating and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville. The burial will be private.
