Carolyn Sue Calvert, age 81, of Russellville, died Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at her home.  She was born October 23, 1940, in Ft. Smith, to Darvin Elwick Jr. and Edna Louise Moore Weakley.

She was a member of Grace Fellowship Church and co-owner and office manager of Arkansas Valley Communications.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kelsie Van "Pete" Calvert.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Steven and Charlotte Calvert and Gregory and Laura Calvert; seven grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at the Shinn Chapel, with the Rev. Mark Lykins officiating.  Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Russellville, under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 until service time in the Chapel.
