Carolyn Sue (Harrison) Dooley, age 79, of Plainview, died Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Cornerstone Specialty Hospital in Little Rock. She was born March 25, 1944, in Anniston, Alabama to Robert Cecil and Myrtle Howard Harrison.

She was a member of Plainview Free Will Baptist Church and loved animals.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Dooley; and a sister, Patricia Heard.

Survivors include her two sons, Michael Dooley of St. Louis, Missouri, and David Owen of Plainview; a brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Denise Harrison of Palm Bay, Florida; a sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Tommy Jenkins of Oxford, Alabama; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at Salem Cemetery at Plainview with Pastor Loyd Miller officiating and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m., at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the humane society of the donors choosing in honor of Carolyn.
