Charlene Miller Bishop, age 83, of Bluffton, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Saturday, February 01, 2025, while being surrounded by her loved ones at home. She was born February 25, 1941, in Winters, Texas to Bernie Robert and Grace Lillian Walton Miller.

She was a member of Russellville First Assembly, the women's ministry group, and was a retired elementary teacher. Anyone that knew Charlene grew to love her, and felt the love that she had for them.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Terrell Philmore Bishop; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Adilie and Bertley Englade, and Frances Turner; and a brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Lois Miller.

Those left to cherish her memory are two stepsons and daughters-in-law, Terrell and Carol Bishop, and Brenson and Mary Bishop; a stepdaughter and son-in-law, Naomi and Rodney Plumley; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Rodney and Sheila Miller, and John "Tom" and Dolly Miller; along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 6, 2025, in the Shinn Chapel, with Pastor Jason Frayer officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah Cemetery, under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Russellville First Assembly of God, 124 E. G St., Russellville, AR 72801, in care of the Women's Ministry Group.
