Charles Richard "Rick" Sheppard, age 73, of Russellville, died Friday, May 2, 2025, at his home. He was born February 6, 1952, in Russellville, to Charles Spurgeon Jr. and Arlene Jo Smith Sheppard.

He was a 1970 graduate of Russellville High School and attended the University of North Texas. He owned a recording studio called Precision Audio in Dallas, Texas. He was of the Church of God faith and sought God's will for his life with his whole heart.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Horace Clyde and Norma Melinda Smith and Charles and Ruby Sheppard.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Jean Price Harris Sheppard; a stepdaughter, Anastasia "Stacy" Harris Edwards of Russellville; two stepsons; a brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Kimberley Sheppard of Grandbury, Texas; a nephew, Charles Jackson Sheppard of Little Rock; a niece, Sydney Sheppard of North Little Rock: and many lifelong friends.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 6, 2025, in the Shinn Chapel, with the Rev. Tony Griffin officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the chapel.
