David Mitchell, age 63, of Pottsville died Thursday, January 25, 2024, at his home.  He was born March 25, 1960, in Russellville to Robert Glenn and Anna Mae Dennis Mitchell.

He loved being "Papa" and racing.  He was a loving husband, father and Papa.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robbie Glenn Mitchell.

Survivors include his wife of 5 years, Patricia Mitchell; two sons and daughters-in-law, Lawrence and Casey Sanborn of Pottsville and Robert and Jennifer Mitchell of Benton; two sisters, Bobbie Ann Huffman of London, and Janice Brown of Dover; six grandchildren, Nathan, Logan and Holden Sanborn, Sydnie Hammonds and Rhett and Barrett Mitchell; and numerous other family members, neighbors, and friends.

A family conducted memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Calvary Temple Assembly of God.  The burial will be private.

Arrangements are under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
