Dominic James Desiderio, age 62, of Russellville died Sunday, May 14, 2023, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. He was born April 18, 1961, in Chicago, Illinois to Francis James and Joyce Rhea Johnson Desiderio.

Dominic was a Merchant Marine servicing the inland waterways. He owned his own restoration business serving the River Valley. Dominic was an Aleta trained Law Enforcement officer serving the Faulkner County Courts. He was a member of Knights of Columbus in Conway, attended St. Joseph Catholic Church, was a Rotarian and a member of the Jaycees and attended services at New Life Church in Russellville.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his mother of Russellville; his beloved life partner, Susan Hibbard; a son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Nikki Desiderio of Maumelle; two daughters and a son-in-law, Nicole Desiderio and her life partner, Luke Wade of Little Rock and Natalie and Stephen Smith of Russellville; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and Nidia Desiderio of Kingsville, Texas and George A. and Lisa Renee Desiderio of Maumelle; four grandchildren, Riley Hillis, Hazel Smith, Randall Stephen Smith III and Scarlett Desiderio; Susan Hibbard's son, Joseph Hibbard; his children, Maddox and McKenzie Hibbard; and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.

A memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 18, 2023, at All Saints' Episcopal Church with the Rev. Don Brown officiating under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville. Burial will be private.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
