Donna Higgs-Jones, age 66, of Russellville, died Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at her home. She was born January 29, 1957, in Russellville, to Virgil Ray and Bessie Joyce Lamb Higgs.

She was a member of Crow Mountain Baptist Church, and she taught school for 38 years in Dover, and for two years in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Steve Allen Jones SR., her brother and sister-in-law, Greg, and Tricia Higgs; two nieces, Chelsea Johnston and Megan Atkins; a nephew, Jake Higgs; along with numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 5, 2023, in Rest Haven Memorial Park, with Pastor Howard Kisor officiating, with arrangements by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

Honorary pallbearers are the Crow Mountain Baptist Church Worship Team.
