Donna "Momma" J. Tucker, age 73, of Russellville, died Sunday, August 4, 2024, at her home. She was born March 29, 1951, in East Bernstadt, Kentucky, to Ernest and Pearl Lena Hansel Sims.

Donna loved God, Family, Friends and America. Most of you know her as Momma Donna. She raised so many babies in her home daycare called Tucker's Tots for over 25 years.

Donna loved celebrating every event and occasion with food, smiles, tears, laughter, and tons of pictures. She was incredibly talented in baking, decorating and crafts. She cherished Christmas time and decorated her house with lights and trees for all to enjoy. She adored Hwy 7 life as family and friends would visit her and/or bring her some goodies. She was a staunch Republican and Trump fan. Fox News was on 24/7. Simply to know her was to love her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Lazzell; two brothers, Bobby and Rick Sims; two brothers-in-law, John Lamoureauz and Len Lazzel.

She is survived by her son, Thomas Tucker; a brother and sister-in-law, Boyd and Barbara Sims of Strafford, Missouri; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Joy and Chuck Marino of Morrisville, Missouri, and Lois Lamoureux of Dover; a sister-in-law, Brenda Sims of Dover; two grandchildren, Trent and Thomas Tucker; along with many other relatives and friends.

All services are private and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made directly to the family to help cover estate expenses.
