Elaine Underhill Berry, age 83, of Russellville passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at her home.  She was born May 9, 1940, in Russellville to Jessie Lawrence and Sybil Pauline Hopson Underhill.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Berry; and infant sister.

She is survived by her cousins, Ruby Rawls, Don Bailey, Jerry Bailey, Bob Underhill, and Harvey Smith.

A member of Wesley United Methodist Church, she enjoyed collecting stuffed animals and requested they be donated to children.

The graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 21, 2023, at Booher Cemetery with her second cousin the Rev. Mark Evants officiating and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

Open viewing will be Thursday, from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., at the funeral home.

The family would like to express their appreciation to her longtime caregivers, Vickie Bryant (second cousin) and Annie McCutcheon. Also, caregivers, Rachel Mason and Miriam McCutcheon, for the love and care Elaine received.
