Emma Jean
Standridge
Jun 24, 1936 — Dec 19, 2020
Russellville
Emma Jean Standridge, age 84, of Russellville passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020, at Atkins Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born June 24, 1936, in Russellville, daughter of the late Sullivan and Alma (Mars) Hollowoa.
Emma was a homemaker, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Attending her grandchildren's and great-grandchildren's sporting events, band concerts, and award programs was one of her greatest joys. She loved celebrating all holidays with her family, especially Christmas. She never forgot a birthday and would spend hours selecting the perfect card. An avid baseball fan, you did not want to get between her and the television during an Atlanta Braves game.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 65 years, Maison Standridge; a daughter, Melissa Lackey; and siblings, James Hollowoa, Lester Hollowoa, Julius Hollowoa, and Lola Kendrick.
She is survived by her children, Sandra Sprafke (Bob), Debbie Ford (Trent), Marilyn Standridge (Carl), Tad Standridge (Lisa); and a son-in-law Kenneth Lackey; her grandchildren, Cassandra Phillips (Shelby), Greg Wages, Patricia Dace (LeMar), Allen Lackey (Amy), Karianne Steen (Noel), Mallory Ford, Amanda Turic (Chris), Kayla Ross (Andrew), Jason Baggett (Jessica), Ashley Lackey (Joseph), Jasmine Standridge and Hunter Standridge (Michelle); 24 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; her brothers, Troy Hollowoa and Kenneth Hollowoa; a sister, Peggy Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Open viewing will be held from 9 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Graveside funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at East Point Cemetery near Russellville with the Rev.
