Ethel Hubbard, age 86, of Russellville, died Friday, December 22, 2023, at Baptist Health and Medical Center in Little Rock.  She was born September 14, 1937, in Pope County to Franklin Fate and Essie Ethel Jones Beaver.

She was of the Pentecostal faith and attended Oakland Heights Assembly of God   Her great-grandchildren, Bryson Thacker, Oakley Bird, Jayce Bennet, Chloe Fletcher, William and Teddy Hallum were her pride and joy; she loved spending time with them.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy H. Hubbard; three brothers, Vernon Harvey Beaver, William Lee Beaver and James Earl Beaver; and four sisters, Rosie Lee Dollar, Christine Allen, Virginia Bailey and Mildred Taylor.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, David Harold and Darlene Hubbard of Atkins; three daughters and son-in-law, Susie Marie Stephens of Pottsville, Sharon Kay and Rick Pierce of Gum Log and Rebecca Fay Hubbard of Russellville; four granddaughters, Tessa Hubbard of Salt Lake City, Utah, Kendra Hubbard Fletcher (Robert), Heather Hallum (Brent), and Alyssa Bird (Travis); and six great-grandchildren. She also had a very special cousin, Ron Jones, of Jacksonville; and numerous nephews and nieces.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Oakland Heights Assembly of God with the Rev. Roy Chisum, the Rev. James Miller and the Rev. James Findley officiating.  Burial will be in Atkins City Cemetery and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

Pallbearers will be Travis Bird, Bryson Thacker, Josh Renfroe, John Birge, Ed Loyd and Kurt Loyd.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00-6:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
