Ethel Rose Jackson, age 91, of Russellville, died Wednesday, December 10, 2025, in Conway, at Superior Health and Rehab. She was born August 2, 1934, in Monticello, Kentucky, to Alpha Lee and Flora Stephens Upton.

Ethel was a dedicated wife, and a loving mother. She was a member of Shiloh Rd. Church of Christ. Her gift of service was making quilted lap blankets and donating them to cancer patients.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fay Harding Jackson; a brother, Jackie Upton; and two sisters, Mary Garner and Barbara Cauley.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and John Donnelly and Nancy and Kenny Freeman; a sister, Charlotte Miller; five grandchildren, Tanner and Logan Freeman, and Tony, Austin, and Alex Perry; and six great-grandchildren, Keene, Braven, Odin, Zeke, Gannon and Arthur.

All services are private with arrangements under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville. Burial with military honors will be held at a later date, in the Alabama Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Spanish Fort.
