Forrest Alderman, age 78, of Russellville, died Sunday, January 26, 2025, at his home. He was born May 8, 1946, in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Forrest Lewis and Vilma Anna Schnieder Alderman.

Forrest was a wonderful husband, father and provider and was loved very much by his family. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving as part of the Crash Rescue team during the Vietnam War. He had a love for all things trains and firefighters.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Lynn Alderman; and a sister, Laura Lynn Johnson.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Sharon Alderman; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jennifer and Lee Dickson of Bellevue, Nebraska and Elizabeth and Josh Toben of Russellville; eight grandchildren, Kylie, Jordan, Zachary, Kyler, Alex, Tristan, Abby and Bailey; and 11 great-grandchildren.

All services are private and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
