Franklin Dee Lloyd, age 86, of Dover, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, July 17, 2022, surrounded by loved ones.  He was born April 4, 1936, in Bear Creek.  Dee married Lucille Duncan on April 15, 1956, and the two built an inseparable life together as they traveled through California, Washington, and then making Arkansas their home, with two sons, Terry and Greg Lloyd.

Dee has unconditional love for his family and was proud to be called Honey, Dad, and Papa Dee.  He will be missed and remembered for the rest of our lives with the sweet memories filling our minds warming our hearts and leading us through.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Lloyd and Lloyd Drewry; nephew, Patrick Lloyd; and a daughter-in-law, Lisa Ann Lloyd.

Dee is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Lucille Lloyd; a sister, Jeannie Drewry; his sons, Terry and Greg Lloyd; a daughter-in-law, Amanda Lloyd; two sisters-in-law, Anita Lloyd and Sharon Drewry; grandchildren, Taylor Bentley (Arron), Gracie Lloyd, Jon Davis Lloyd, Garrett Lloyd (Stephenie), Brittney Glover (Clayton) and Tyler Linboom; great-grandchildren, Jackson Bentley, Hunter and Rylee Lloyd, and Luke and Jonah Glover.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 21, 2022, at the Shinn Chapel with the Rev. Dean Caldwell officiating.  The graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., at Bear Creek Cemetery near Marshall and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m., at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Willis (Woody) Parks, Bennie Parks, Jeff Duncan, Ritchie Singleton, Garrett Lloyd, and Clayton Glover.
