Gary Ford, age 71, of Russellville, died Sunday, September 6, 2026, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center. He was born on December 31, 1954, in Russellville, to Erma Nell Owens Ford.

He loved spending time outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and kayaking. He loved cooking and spending time with his family and friends, but most of all, he adored his grandchildren.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by three brothers, C.L., Larry and Gerald Ford.

He is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Tammie Ford; four sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy and Brittany Justice, Justin and Vanessa Jackson, Austin and Emily Thomas, and Tristan and Amber Thomas; a sister, Glenda Bailey; 16 grandchildren, Brecken, Bryce, Liam, Revan, June, Lane, Eli, Caleb, Silas, William, Abigail, Gracelynn, Xantheus, Daigen, Syndri, and Tanzalie; and four great-grandchildren, Corey, Kai, Rylan and Mila.

There will be a private graveside for the family in Oakland Cemetery, under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

Pallbearers are Jimmy Justice, Justin Jackson, Tristan and Austin Thomas, Matt Duffield, Mark Hester, Kaylo Jones and Gary Bell.
