Geneva Barefield, age 84, of Russellville, died Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Conway Regional Medical Center in Conway. She was born September 16, 1940, in Russellville.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Americas Lee Morgan and Stellar Hughes; her husband, Jesse Ralph Barefield; a son, Ralph Lee Barefield; and a brother, Leeroy Morgan.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda McCurley; a son and daughter-in-law, Jesse Barefield and Trista Cochran; five grandchildren, Gabriel Barefield, Lucian Barefield, Sarah Lancaster (Michael), Johnny Ray Barefield and Amanda Colbert (Harley); and nine great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 3, 2024, in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Ft. Smith, with Pastor Steve Payton officiating under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
