Georgia Proctor Crites, age 100, of Morrilton, died Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at Brookridge Cove Rehab and Care in Morrilton. She was born August 8, 1921, in Atkins, to George W. and Janie Melissa Sturges Proctor.

Georgia and Reece got married September 12, 1936, and began working on the farm side by side. She worked at the pickle plant for 25 years, and then as a meat wrapper for several years after that. She retired as manager from Chicken Mart in Russellville. She loved working in her yard and received "Yard of the Month" twice. Even more, she loved cooking and entertaining her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elston Reece Crites; eight sisters, Frances Selby, Irene Butler, Rosa Honeycutt, Lorene Wright, Elizabeth Hartwick, Mary Hottinger, Bessie Hartwick, and Bennie Keith; three brothers, James, Billy, and Jessie Proctor; a son-in-law, Rev. Alfred Kinslow; four grandchildren, David Parrish, Larry and Jerry Kinslow, and Sandra (Lue) Larkins; and one great-grandchild, Kelly Kinslow.

She is survived by a daughter, Jean Kinslow; two granddaughters-in-law, Robin Martin Parrish, and Susie Kinslow; and two great-grandchildren, Norma Lewis, and Melissa Robertson; three great-great-grandchildren, Jacob Lewis, Seven and Scy Vickstrom; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at St. Joe Free Will Baptist Church, with the Rev. David Bishop, and Sister Mary Ann Chronister officiating. Burial will be in St. Joe Cemetery under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family will receive friends Monday, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
