Glenda Lauretta Collins, age 94, of Conway, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, February 13, 2021. She was born January 29, 1927, in Marmaduke, to the late Leon and Ozena Houston Albert.

Glenda was a military spouse and lived in several different states along with Germany before settling down in Arkansas. She was a devoted wife to her husband for almost 50 years. She lived for her family. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest joy. She loved to babysit them. She also worked at the church nursery at First Freewill Baptist. She will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, L.B. Collins and a son, Robert W. Collins.

Survivors include three sons, Jay (Susan) Collins of Conway, David (Cindy) Collins of Pottsville and Larry (Vera) Collins of Fort Smith; two daughters, Sherrie (Lloyd) Hartzell of Conway and Angela Collins of Hot Springs; a daughter-in-law, Sherri Collins of Russellville; 18 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 20, 2021, at Rest Haven Memorial Park with the Rev. Jerry Vinson officiating and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

Open viewing will be held on Friday, February 19, 2021, from 1:00-4:00 p.m., at Shinn Funeral Service.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Hartzell, Jayson Collins, Chris Simpson, Landon Lenderman, Aaron Lenderman and Kurt Loyd.
