Glenn Ballard, age 77, of Russellville, died Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at his home. He was born on October 25, 1948, in Pittsfield, Illinois, to William E. and Eleanor L. Butler Ballard.

He was a Vietnam veteran and retiree of the United States Navy, where he served for 22 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Russellville, and the Woodworkers Association of Arkansas. He was a master craftsman who made beautiful furniture.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Doris Ballard.

He is survived by his loving wife, Beverly McSheehy-Ballard; two sons and daughters-in-law, Byron and Monica Ballard, and Matt and Jill McSheehy; four daughters and sons-in-law, Amy Land, Angela and Pete Fisk, Christi and Vince Skinner and Amber and Zac Lacy; a brother and sister-in-law, Gerald and Phoebe Ballard; a sister Donela Landeen; 11 grandchildren, Donovan (Sheridan) Hughes, Jayson Pate, Evan (Kenzie) and Noah Ballard, Hayley and Katelynn Land, Drew McSheehy, Ethan Lacy, Alyssa McSheehy, Emma Lacy and Brendan Kate (Daniel) Spickes, and four great-grandchildren, Corinthian and Beckett Ballard, and Stetson and Hayes Spickes.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 20, 2026, in the Shinn Chapel, with the Rev. Mike Cloud officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah Cemetery, under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the Chapel.
