Glenna James, age 77, of Harrison, previously of Delray Beach, Florida died Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at The Springs of Mt. Vista in Harrison after a long battle with cancer.  She was born August 28, 1946, in Logan, Utah to Deward and Theone Williamson.

Glenna was a member of Pyatt Baptist Church located in Pyatt.

Glenna worked and retired from Amtrak Railroad where she was an executive secretary.  She was an accomplished musician playing the organ and the piano.  She also sang in the choir at every church she attended.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Marcia Penrod.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph James of Delray Beach, Florida; the father of her children, Ed Thiel; two sons and daughters-in-law, Brad and Tracey Thiel of Harrison and Ernie and Katy Thiel of Wilmington, North Carolina; two brothers, Kent Williamson and Mike Williamson; 5 grandchildren, two whom were married, Vincent and Karri Thiel of Russellville, Heather and Drew Fitzgerald of Harrison, Nicholas Thiel of Harrison, David Thiel of Fort Collins, Colorado and Ava Thiel of Wilmington, North Carolina; and three great-grandchildren, Oliver and Lawson Fitzgerald and Emmett Thiel.

Glenna will be missed dearly by all her family and friends.  She will be laid to rest in St. Charles, Idaho where she grew up. Arrangements are under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
