Ida Ruth Riddell, age 84, of Dover, died Sunday, December 7, 2025, at her home.  She was born on September 20, 1941, in Dover to Jack and Christine Beaver Allen.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, fishing and crocheting.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tim Riddell; and two brothers, John Allen and William "James" Allen.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry Lee and Karen Riddell; a daughter, Cricket Dodge; two sisters-in-law, Wanda Allen and Chong Allen; three grandchildren, Christy Taylor, Will Riddell, and Tim Dodge; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Pleasant Grove Assembly of God, with the Rev. Jackie Pledger officiating. Burial will be in Pollard Cemetery, under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00-6:00 p.m., at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Michael Riddell, Tommy Riddell, Randy Taylor, Johnny Allen, Ben Zeiler and Roger Wheeler.
