Jaidyn Xavier Byrd, age 21, of Russellville, died Friday, August 2, 2024. He was born August 6, 2002, in Russellville, to Lindsey Jay Muller and Kelley Renee Byrd.

Jaidyn adored his daughter, Layla, more than anything in this world.  Rainy weather was his favorite, and he would take Layla out and play.  He loved being outdoors, camping, kayaking and hiking.  He had a passion for music, festivals and playing the guitar, especially for his daughter.

He loved to travel with Elizabeth and took pride in showing her the world.  They traveled to many different states taking in the scenery and enjoying the beauty. He always made his wife feel special, and went above and beyond anytime he was able, especially on birthdays.

Jaidyn valued his friendships especially with his cousin, Zack, who was like a brother to him.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, James and Martha Schimmel; and a cousin, Dillon Rolins.

Survivors include his parents, Kelley Byrd and Lindsey Muller; wife, Elizabeth Byrd; his daughter who was his pride and joy, Layla Byrd; a brother, Quinn Muller; grandparents, James and Marshella Byrd; an aunt and uncle, Lisa and Tony Rolins; and a cousin, Zack Rolins.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 9, 2024, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., at Shinn Funeral Service.

Burial will be private under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
