James L. Brown, age 88, of Dover, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2024.  The son of R.H. and Edna Azile Taylor Brown was born October 23, 1935, in Dover.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dewayne Brown.

Survivors include his daughter, Teresa Dehaven; two sisters, Anna Timmons and Wathalyn Shelton; and many other relatives and friends.

The family has requested a change to the service date. The graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Pollard Cemetery at Dover under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
