James "Jimmy" H. Wells, age 59, of Pottsville, died Friday, June 28, 2024, at his home.  He was born January 8, 1965, in Russellville to James Harold and Carolyn Ruby Nell Morphis Wells.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold and Vera Morphis; and his mother, Carolyn  Morphis - Thompson.

Survivors include his life partner, Suzanne Rogers of Pottsville; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Brandy Wells and Trent Davis of Danville, Shelby Rogers of Pottsville and Jessi and Danny Parker of Pottsville; brother and sister-in-law, Douglas and Tonya Ozio Thompson of Fort Smith; a sister, Michele Roy of Fort Smith; his nieces and nephews, Matthew, Brittney, Brandy, Zachary and Miranda all of Fort Smith; six grandchildren, Kyra Ann Davis and Trenton Davis Jr., Brilee Coleman, Braelynn Johnson, Brody Parker and Kamdyn Parker all of Pottsville; two uncles and an aunt, Mike and Elaine Sanders of Pottsville and Roger Morphis of  Russellville; and numerous cousins.

A visitation will be from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at Shinn Funeral Service.
