James M. Freeman, age 73, of Russellville, died Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at Legacy Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation in Russellville. He was born July 5, 1953, in Lepanto to Earl and Mary Juanita Davis Freeman.

He retired from Con Agra after 45 years.

In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by a brother, Earl R. “Buddy” Freeman.

Survivors include a brother, Terry Freeman of Russellville; and four sisters and four brothers-in-law, Maebell and Kenneth Chandler of Russellville, Linda and Larry Newell of Hot Springs, Beckie and Henry Hankins and Debbie and Gerald DeFiore, all of Russellville.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 16, 2026, at the Shinn Chapel with the Rev. Dean Caldwell officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh-Williamson Cemetery in Russellville under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service.

The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
