Jerry Don Goodall, age 77, of Montevallo, Alabama formerly of Russellville, died Thursday, April 10, 2025, peacefully at his home.  He was born August 24, 1947, in Santa Rosa, California to George Lee and Cleo Lee Hays Goodall.

He was the administrator from 1974-1979 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville, Arkansas before relocating to Atlanta, Georgia where he was a Regional Director for American Medical International. He spent the majority of his career in Birmingham, Alabama as Director of Materials Management at Brookwood Medical Center. He was a member of Dawson Memorial Baptist Church in Homewood, Alabama and Dogwood Grove Baptist Church in Montevallo, Alabama. He was active in medical missions internationally. He was an avid gardener and passed the Master Gardeners exam later in life.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Eugene Goodall; and great-granddaughter, Amelia.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Anita Cagle Goodall; his son and daughter-in-law, Aaron Lee and Laurie Goodall of Birmingham, Alabama; a daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Jerry Ferguson of Birmingham, Alabama; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Oakland Cemetery in Atkins with the Rev. Jerry Patton officiating under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00-6:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
