Jerry R. Haynes, age 73, of Russellville, died Thursday, January 2, 2025, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center.  He was born April 22, 1951, in Atkins, to John Rece and Neta Mae Baker Haynes.

He was of the Assembly of God faith.  He retired after 30 years from Con Agra.  He was adored by all his nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Freddie Haynes; and a sister, Katie Hodges.

Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Joy Haynes of Pottsville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 3, 2025, in the Shinn Chapel with the Rev. Jim Huffman officiating.  Burial will be in Atkins City Cemetery under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the chapel.
