Joann Franey, age 80, of Atkins, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2020, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville. She was born August 25, 1940, in California.

She was an avid animal lover, and enjoyed shopping on the QVC television program.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband George; a son, Michael Franey; a brother, Carl Lawley; and her sister Linda.

She is survived by her loving grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and other relatives and friends.

All services are private and arrangements are under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
