JoAnn Walker, age 74, of Dover, died Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at Johnson County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  She was born February 1, 1948, in East Chicago, Indiana to James and Connie Gregg.

She worked at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center for 41 years before she retired.  She loved spending time with her family and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Donna Myers Darby.

Survivors include her husband, Denver Walker Sr.; her two children and their spouses, Tracy and Fred Standridge of Dover and Denver Jr. and Darrah Walker of Augsburg; four grandchildren, Kelsey Jo and Justin Bennett of Dover, Kendel Standridge of Dover, Dawson and Draden Walker of Augsburg; three great-grandchildren, Harlee Jo, Rhett and Ridge Bennett, all of Dover; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at Dover First Baptist Church with Dr. Jeff Paxton officiating.  Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00-6:00 p.m., at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Chris Myers, Justin Bennett, Donnie Haley, Brent Boland, Steven Walker and Tony Haley.
