Joe Herman Price, age 80, of Russellville, died Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center. He was born June 7, 1941, in Dover, to Joe Steele and Goldie Douglas Edwards Price.

He attended Second Baptist Church and retired after working 15 years at Arkansas Tech University, and 35 years at Bridgestone/Firestone in Russellville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Gary Price; and a sister, Jeanie Crow.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Jo Price; a son, John Price of Russellville; a daughter and son-in-law, Angie, and Ken White, of Russellville; and four grandchildren, Breanna (Zack) Elledge of Powhatan, Madisun (Kyle) White of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Autumn Wilbanks of Russellville, and Bryson White of Russellville.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 14, 2022, at the Shinn Chapel, with Bro. Chris Russell and Bro. Jonathan Whitlock officiating. Burial will be in Bakers Creek Cemetery near Russellville, under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

Pallbearers are Jeff Drewry, Ken White, Jerry D. Linker, Brandon Crow, Zac Elledge and Kyle Temple.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., on Friday, at the funeral home.
