John Couch, age 65, of Dover, passed away Friday, June 7, 2024, at his home. He was born June 21, 1958, in Dallas, Texas, to Cecil Redding and Mary Elizabeth Mitchell Couch.

John loved people.  He was always happiest when he was making others laugh.  He loved riding motorcycles and playing drums in several different bands.  He took honor in playing especially for the veterans with bands at the American Legion Hut, Senior Citizens Centers and Mak Daddy's Old Town Meet n' Eat.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Couch.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Couch; four sons and daughters-in-law, Jarrod and Cheryl Couch, Shawn Couch, Tyler Robbins and Jason and Courtney Masters; a brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Lena Couch; a sister and brother-in-law, Sara and David Beaumarches; and five grandchildren, Cadence, Hadley, Ava, Faith and Holden; along with other relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at the Shinn Chapel.

Burial will be in Havana Cemetery, under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
