Johnnie T.  Brown Sr., age 70, of Russellville, died Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at Baptist Health and Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born August 26, 1953, in Fort Smith to Charlie Augustis and Maudie Elizabeth Asher Brown.

He was a member of Gateway Pentecostal Church. He loved his family and was a friend to everyone he met.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia Brown; and several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by a son, Johnnie T. Brown Jr.; two daughters and sons-in law, Christie and Larry Wells and Julie and Michael Level; eight grandchildren, Cody Wells, Hope Coverdale (Justin), Dillon Wells, Jonathan Level, Madison Level, Lydia Brown, McKenzie Brown and Bryson Davidson; four great-grandchildren, Callan Coverdale, Campbell Coverdale, Paisley Wells and Ellie Wells; extended family, Nancy and Jason Davidson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be Friday, August 9, 2024, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Shinn Funeral Service.

Burial will be private in Pisgah Cemetery under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
