Johnny Blackford, age 85, of Dardanelle, died Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab. He was born on February 10, 1940, in Russellville, to Fred Raymond and Nola Mae Engholm Blackford.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Burma Blackford; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Allen Joe (Anita) Blackford, and Rickey Lee Blackford; a brother and sister-in-law; two sisters; five grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 23, 2026, in Rest Haven Memorial Park, with Allen Blackford officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
