Judy Pannell King, age 64, of Bartlett, Tennessee, passed away after a brief illness on December 30, 2022.

She was a loving mother and was survived by her son, Adam King. She was originally from New Albany, Mississippi. She was employed with the VA Medical Center as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Case Manager. She also worked with Sunflower Counseling Services, PLLC. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Fred E. King; her mother, Jane Hall; her father, William Pannell; her brother-in-law, Danny Owen; her in-laws, Dr. William Ernest King, Jr and Maribeth Mallory King; and her sisters-in-law, Elizabeth King Robbins (Don), and Maribeth Ileen Robbins.

She is survived by her sister, Betty Owen of New Albany, Mississippi; her half-brother, Robert Pannell of Byhalia, Mississippi; her stepfather, Mike Hall (Becky) of Corinth, Mississippi; her sisters-in-law, Kathryn King Kish of Springdale and Alice King Kutz (Kurt) of Springdale. She also leaves behind a host of extended family members.

A family conducted graveside memorial service celebrating Judy's life will be held at noon on Saturday, June 24th, 2023, in Oakland Cemetery in Russellville.  Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

In lieu of flowers, the family requested that memorials be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church, 2949 Davies Plantation, Lakeland, TN 38002.
