Judy Roper, age 80, of Dardanelle, died Sunday, May 3, 2026, at Dardanelle Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  She was born January 15, 1946, in Pottsville to Virgil and Myrtle Womack McAnulty.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Robert McAnulty, Dub McAnulty, Ed McAnulty and Wayne McAnulty; and three sisters, Sue Parham, Shirley McCurrie and Wanda McCurrie.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Charles Roper; two sons, Mark Roper and Michael Roper; a daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Steven Scott; a sister and brother-in-law, Jane and J.T. Daniel; five grandchildren and their spouses, Nicole and Cristian Reyna, Brandon Roper, Shelby and Jordan Larkan, Connor Scott and Ty and Kitley Roper; two great-grandchildren, Liam and Charlie Reyna; and one great-granddaughter on the way.

The graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at Pisgah Cemetery with Bro. Ricky White officiating under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00-6:30 p.m., at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, Western Arkansas Chapter, 2408 S. 51st Court, Suite F, Fort Smith, Arkansas 72903.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Roper, Connor Scott, Ty Roper, Cristian Reyna and Jordan Larkan.
