Katie Hodges, age 72, of Russellville died Friday, September 10, 2021, at Legacy Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  She was born February 3, 1949, in Atkins to John and Nita Mae Baker Haynes.

She loved spending time with her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  She enjoyed gardening and always had a beautiful garden.  She was an employee of Con Agra for 27 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant brother.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Danny Hodges; two daughters and a son-in-law, Tina and Russell Cooper of Dover and Anita Malik of Russellville; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Jerry Haynes of Russellville, Michael and Joy Haynes of Pottsville and Freddy Haynes of Russellville; four grandchildren, Tyner Tankersley, Craig Cooper, Toni Malik and R.J. Malik; two great-grandchildren and one on the way; a dear friend, Wilma Garrison; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many other relatives and friends.

The memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at the Shinn Chapel with the Rev. Scott Garrison officiating and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.  Burial will be private.

The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service in the Shinn Chapel.
