Obituary

Lenora Craig, age 92, of Russellville, died Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at her home. She was born on June 6, 1933, to Marion Franklin and Maudie Leah Williamson Woody.

She and her husband raised their five children while she continued working a full-time job. She loved to sew, and found a love for her job as a salesclerk in the fabric department at Wal-Mart.

Cooking was one of her many talents, especially pies. When her children were all home, she would prepare a large meal every Sunday for her family. She enjoyed traveling to any place she could get to, loved working with her flowers and painting. Her three yorkies were her companions.

Her love for her family and friends was displayed by how she lived her life. She had a gift of loving everybody. She would always find the good in everyone and everything. She was a generous person and always strived to please her family.

She was a devoted Christian who worshipped and served at Martin Chapel Assembly of God. She truly loved Jesus with all of her heart.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Craig; three brothers, Marion Woody Jr., Charles Woody and David Woody; a sister, Gwen Woody Foster; a son, James Allen Craig Sr.; and a granddaughter, Laura Ann Craig.
