Leonard Lynn Whybark, age 78, of Russellville, died Tuesday, October 7, 2025, in Springdale. He was born July 7, 1947, in Gilroy, California to Donald and Cordie Elizabeth Boyce Whybark.

First and foremost, and above all else, he was a loving husband, a wonderful dad, and a great papa to his family. His family was the only focus of his life. Most outside of the family knew him as a skilled mechanic, a master home setter, and a collector of things people would eventually need. His legacy will be one of helping everyone he knew. His memory will live on and will be cherished in the stories told by anyone who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe and Billy Whybark; three sisters, Carol Jones, Debbie Baker and Peggy Crabtree; and his mother-in-law, Peggy Huffman.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Dela "Cissy" Whybark; a son and son-in-law, Shaun Whybark and Mark Bryan of Columbus, Ohio; a daughter and son-in-law, Sunny Hobbs and Jessie Cooper of Russellville; three brothers, Richard Whybark of Clarksville, Monty Whybark of Malvern and Jack Whybark of Malvern; two sisters, Virginia Nichols of Clarksville and Sandy McGrew of Clarksville; and four grandchildren, Matthew Hanson, JaQuawn Bobo, Lincoln Blevins, and Kyiah Cooper.

He was also a "dad" to Berta Usrey, Anthony Gonzales, Erica Gonzales, Nicole Gonzales, and Shauna Woods.

The graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 10, 2025, at Rock Springs Cemetery with Mark Bryan officiating under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family will receive friends at Jessie Cooper and Sunny Hobbs' house immediately following the service.
