Leroy V. Martin, age 89, of Russellville, died Friday, November 4, 2022, at his home. He was born February 26, 1933, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Vergie Leon and Elsie Marie Chedotal Martin.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Yeates Martin; his daughter, Tami Quihuis; two grandsons, Jeremy, and Joseph Bushling; a brother-in-law, Larry Lewis; a sister-in-law, Virene Willis; and a grandmother, Matilda Martin, who raised him, and his Aunt Vernice

He is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Lori and Gary Ragland of Russellville, Terri and Darrell Fuller of Dover, and Lisa Bushling of North Little Rock; a sister, Linda Munson; six grandchildren, Shawn and Mark Blevins of Pottsville, Dennis Ragland of Russellville, Jessica and Gleb Polovtsev of Conway, Hannah and Ryan Lancaster of Russellville, Megan Fuller of Dover, and Anjuli and Curt McElrath of Havana; seven great-grandchildren, Brandi and Eddie Harris, Justin and Jennifer Young, Bailey and Jonathan Dodson, Ciara and Lexi Blevins, Dalton and Taylor Ragland, Dylan and Madison Ragland and Joslyn Kearn; eight great-great-grandchildren, Jack, Noah, Mila, Lyla, Hadley, Hazel, Hixon and Maverick; a sister-in-law, Debi Lewis of Sutter, California; a brother-in-law, Ralph Willis; along with many relatives in California and Louisiana.
