Lewis Oval Chuculate, affectionately known as "Lewie" age 61, of Russellville passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at Arkansas Heart Hospital.  He was born February 8, 1964, in Morrilton to Henry and Ruth McCurrie Chuculate.

He spent 28 dedicated years working at Hackney Ladish and was a proud member of the Boilermakers Local 1510.  On August 1, 1987, he married the love of his life, Lora Maner, and together they shared 38 years of marriage built on love, laughter, and devotion to family.

Lewie enjoyed classic cars and rarely missed the annual Petit Jean Swap Meet.  He loved going to the drag strip and the stock car races.  Most recently, he was excited at the news of his first grandchild, Cooper, expected in August.  Lewie was known for his strong work ethic, generosity and the pride he took in caring for his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Lora Chuculate; two daughters and a son-in-law, Brittany Chuculate and Ashley and Jacob Smardo; his eagerly anticipated grandson, Cooper; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Lisa Chuculate and Gary and Sharon Chuculate; aunt, Kay McCurrie; nieces, Jodi and Alison Chuculate and Tiffany Lane; nephews, Cody Chuculate and Bradley and Brett Frost; eight great-nephews; and two great-nieces.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 23, 2025, at the Shinn Chapel with the Rev. Scott Garrison officiating.  Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Atkins under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00-6:00 p.m., at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be David McCurrie, Jeff McCurrie, Bradley Frost, Brett "Junior" Frost, Walter Adney and Quinton Lewis.
