Obituary

Linda Kaye Crafton, 80, of Russellville, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, surrounded by her love and legacy of a life well lived.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Hattie; her father, Harry; her sister, Shirley; and her beloved husband, James.

Linda was a trailblazer in her family, becoming the first to attend college. She graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a degree in education and taught for five years at Greenland before dedicating her life fully to her family.

Her greatest pride and joy were her two sons, Kevin and Kyle. Linda and James spent countless days and nights in gyms and on ball fields, faithfully supporting their boys in every game and every season. Their dedication paid off as both Kevin and Kyle went on to play baseball at Arkansas Tech University, a source of immense pride for her.

Later in life, Linda found great joy in spending time with her grandson, Landon. She cherished the simple moments—helping him bait a hook, teaching him to cast a line, and making memories that will last a lifetime.

Linda was known for her unwavering devotion to her family. She made sure her boys always had everything they needed and wanted, and she was the one everyone could count on—always present, always supportive, always loving.

You also might find her just outside mowing. Another reflection of her hardworking and caring nature.

If you needed Linda, she was there—without question.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her and will remain in their hearts until they are reunited.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 1, 2026, at the Shinn Chapel, officiated by the Rev. Stephen Davis.  A private burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the chapel.
