Lona Marilyn Cagle Goines, age 83, of Caglesville died Tuesday, November 10, 2020, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center.  She was born January 3, 1937, in Caglesville to Roger Milton Cagle and Marjorie Euna Tucker Cagle.

She was a member of Caglesville Community Church. She retired from Contel Telephone Company after 34 years and was a former employee of Humphrey Funeral Service.  She was a member of Contel's "Redials" and Bosom Buddies.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband Bill Goines; two sons, Alan Dean Trigg of Caglesville and David Earl Trigg of Russellville; five grandchildren, Tarin Andrews, Sara Trigg, Julie Hall, Joshua Trigg and Harrison Trigg; two great-grandchildren, Carson Hall and Asher Hall; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Anita and Jerry Goodall of Birmingham, Alabama and Melita and Richard Hild of Caglesville.

The graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 13, 2020, at Rock Springs Cemetery at Hector with Brother Tony Haley officiating and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

Open visitation will be held on Thursday, from 1:00-6:00 p.m., at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Trigg, Harrison Trigg, Greg Dalton, Zach Wages, Daniel Lott and Jeremy Pack.
