The Heavenly Father is rejoicing and Heaven's gates are opening.

Lucille Yeager Hicks, age 94, of Russellville, died Sunday, January 10, 2021, at Johnson County Health and Rehab in Clarksville. She was born October 27, 1926, in Oxley, to Charles Samuel and Lucy Maybelle Passmore Bunton.

She was a member of the Russellville Assembly of God, and a vital member of her community.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Yeager; her second husband, Vanis Hicks; a brother, Edward Bunton; a daughter, Mary Lou Sims; and her buddy, Johnny Cline.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Robert E. and Rebecca Yeager; a niece, Shirley Cline; a son-in-law, Rex Sims; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Russellville, officiated by Pastor Don Stiles, and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

An open viewing will be on Tuesday, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
